INS 45th Annual Meeting - Dr. Kamat and Ms. Watson

HNRC affiliated presenters at the 45th Annual Meeting of the International Neuropsychological Society, New Orleans, LA,  2/1/17- 2/4/17, include Ms. Caitlin Wei-Ming Watson and Dr. Rujvi Kamat.  Ms. Watson’s poster explores self-reported racial discrimination experiences among African-American older adults and imaging of brain cortical thickness.  Dr. Kamat’s oral presentation explores depression and its correlates in HIV infection with a focus on quality of life.

Both works personify the diversity and interdisciplinary aspects of research produced by up and coming HNRP associated scientists. These researchers attempt to explore both the mechanisms of neurocognitive dysfunction and its impacts on the individual afflicted.
